Coordinating Your Window Treatment
Installation
Thank you for contacting us with your request for window treatments.
Please note the following details for a trouble-free window treatment
installation.
Once you approve the estimate cost for the window treatments,
our office will proceed with the order of the materials.
The window treatment installer or your Interior Designer will contact
your designated department representative to coordinate the installation
details and date.
Prior to window treatment removal/installation: The area in front of the window must be cleared of all furnishings
within a three-foot radius.
If furnishings cannot be moved, desk and table tops must be clear
of any office machines, phones, papers, etc. The installers will
use the desk and table top as a platform for reaching the windows.
If,
upon arrival for the scheduled appointment for removal/installation
of window treatments, the area has not been cleared as agreed,
a service charge will be assessed and removal/installation will
be rescheduled.
Furniture Removal
If furniture removal is necessary, contact Physical Plant Custodial
Services at 355-8485. You will need to send a service request to
them.
Asbestos Abatement
If necessary, abatement of the surfaces adjacent to the window(s)
must be estimated and completed prior to the removal and/or installation
of the window treatments.
